If you could buy a 32gb for 119 or 64gb for 190 would it be better to get the 32? Am I really gonna need a 64?
According to Apple itself, choosing between the 32 and 64GB Apple TV model comes down to whether you’ll be using the gizmo to stream media and occasionally play games, or primarily for playing games and downloading apps from a built-in App Store.
“If you plan to use your Apple TV primarily to stream movies, TV shows, and music or to play a few apps and games, you’ll probably be fine with 32GB of storage,” reads a notice on Apple’s official [URL="https://forums.imore.com/e?link=https%3A%2F%2Fapple.sjv.io%2Fc%2F221109%2F473657%2F7613%3FsubId1%3DUUimUvbUpU2674890%26subId2%3Dvbim%26u%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.apple.com%252Fshop%252Fbuy-tv%252Fapple-tv-hd%26ourl%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.apple.com%252Fshop%252Fbuy-tv%252Fapple-tv%253Fafid%253Dp239%25257C159229%2526cid%253Daos-us-aff-ir%2526subId1%253DUUimUvbUpU2674890%2526subId2%253Dvbim%2522&token=5huWcSdD]‘Buy Apple TV’ webpage[/URL].
“If you plan to download and use lots of apps and games, choose the 64GB configuration. Keep in mind when making your decision, that some apps, when in use, do require additional storage.”
I own a 32GB and that will work perfect for my needs. I am not a gamer and stream my media so will not require a lot of storage. At $119, if you do not plan on a huge amount of gaming, it would be the wise choice to save the money difference of getting a 64GB.
