2g and 3.0 trouble

Trying to update my 2g to 3.0. Windows or redsnow does not find the 3.0 IPSW file. I down loaded the 3.0 firmware from several sites including this one with no luck. Lots of files but no IPSW.
Using latest version of iTunes.
Tried both XP and Vista

Thanks it's the same file. For some reason the firmware file is associated with Quick Time. redsn0w will not recognize it.
I have spent hours searching this site and google. Anything I find goes back to "follow the directions. Trust me I have. This is not my first unlock. Usually the file is right there. For whatever reason redsn0w shows all empty folders.
I would appreciate any help.
