Is it though? I'm still debating if I should a) waste an upgrade, or b) pay full price.... just to get an iphone 5S... I have a black/slate 5 32GB Verizon version (but using on AT&T - my area doesn't yet have at&t LTE anyways...).... Debating if I gain more by selling my 5 now, rather than a year from now when the iphone 6 hits...
After living mine for over 2 weeks now, I can honestly say that while initially skeptical about the "value" of this upgrade, now...I think it's totally worth it. We all know the feature list that was added...no reason to rehash that again and again. Some of the things I've found that are LESS discussed are better cellular connections (for both phone calls AND data, which is really awesome, because I'm getting faster LTE connections in places that my iPhone 5 was only getting minimal to no connections), burst mode for the camera is a truly awesome feature, and I have been able to get some really cool shots (including lighting!...when I get home I'm going to post them up in the pic section)...and one last one for right now, the boot up speeds are significantly faster...when my phone died (let it cycle down) yesterday, I plugged it in and as soon as it had the juice to get going, I remember being SHOCKED at how quickly it loaded up and got me going. It was awesome...
Those are just a few of the things that nobody is really touching on that puts the 5S in the upper tier and moves the iPhone 5 out of that spot.
