2021 11” Pro Upgrades

I’m thinking of upgrading my 11” iPad Pro from a couple years ago to a new-gen 2021 11” Pro.

Can someone tell me what upgrades the 2021 has (aside from the camera) over my old 11” iPad Pro?

Since you have not mentioned what generation your iPad Pro is, so I'm going to list the changes with between the 2nd and 3rd generation 11in iPad Pro (2020 vs 2021).

The changes I could find:

• M1 processor instead of an A12Z
  Simply a faster processor and more system memory, allowing you to do more tasks.
• Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 port instead of USB 3.2 (on USB type C)
  It allows you to connect a variety of peripherals, including faster network cards (in theory) and very fast external storage.
• 12 megapixel TrueDepth camera (instead of 7MP)
  Better camera. Not sure which one that is.

I mean if your 11” is working fine there’s honestly no reason to upgrade right now.

Exactly what I’m thinking. The new 11” pro isn’t picking up the Liquid Retina XDR display that the 12.9” Pro has, and the rest of the processing upgrades don’t warrant a move up.
