I'm leaving my country mid of June so I'm almost certain that the pro won't arrive by the time I want to leave so I'm left with 2 choices, the 2015 MacBook Pro with Retina display or the new 206 retina MacBook? My main concern is speakers, screen quality, portability, and most importantly sturdiness and how well it copes with wear and tear

I have the 2015 MacBook Pro and it is amazing, don't really use it for anything though.. But it was perfect for everything I used it for, Even dropped it a few times but it's still fine with minor scratches.

The rMBP will be better in the long run. I'm using the 2015 rMBP with AMD M370X and it's awesome!

I'd opt for the rMBP, faster CPU, GPU, more ports, larger screen. I think it will handle what you throw at it better then the MacBook - just my $.02

This.

They were just $300 off at Best Buy -- keep an eye out for sales as WWDC gets closer. That $300 can go towards AppleCare if you want it :)
