2012 SSD macbook air vs 2012 HDD macbook pro - Logic Pro X

I currently have the 2012 macbook air base model (1.8Ghz, 4gb ram, 128 SSD). Im primarily want Logic Pro X (i.e. music editing) to run with less hiccups. I currently have the offer to trade my 2012 macbook air for a 2012 macbook pro (2.5GHz, 8gb ram, 500 HDD).

Obviously the macbook pro has a faster processor speed and twice the ram, but has a slower storage read/write capabilities (i.e. HDD) than the SSD of macbook air.

Just regarding running my music editing program most smoothly, should I keep the macbook air or trade it for the macbook pro with HDD.

Hard drive space is no issue, I have a external 1TB hard drive.

Thanks for the help!
