2.5 or 2.8

How much of a difference am I going to see on the Macbook Pro 2.5 quad core vs 2.8. I'm getting the dedicated 2G of ram on the video card either way, but didn't know how much difference on the 2.5 vs 2.8?

Anyone have any ideas?

Although I do not have either in my possession, I don't think the improvement of the 2.8 over the 2.5 is significant. Having said that, I hope that someone who has both or have used both will reply soon with his or her opinion.

Unless you are rendering large files, you would never notice the difference. The speed bump is negligible (Approx. 10%). A good drive and graphics card will do more for speed.
