2.2 on 2G - Is it worthwhile?

So...having read the reviews and the news about Jailbreaking 2.2 - the question of the day is for the 2G users. If you have upgraded to 2.2, do you see any real benefits or is the 2.2 upgrade more focused on the 3G users?

I know very little about jailbreaking, so if that is the direction you want to go, you may want to wait for someone else to chime in. With that said, I upgraded and have found that it was well worth it. Safari is much more stable and that alone was worth it. My other web apps are very stable and I have had zero crashes since updating.

Were you having crashes on a 2G iPhone? Mine has never crashed.

Yes the web apps and safari would just close... It got progressively worse over the last few weeks and nothing since

Agree completely, Safari stability is really great. I've had no crashes either since the update.
