1st gen iphone..need help

I have the 1st gen iphone and I bought it off some 1 and it has some stupid programs installed.I went to installer and uninstalled the programs but the programs are still in the home screen and the icon on the program I uninstalled has a question mark pic as an icon.when I click that program,it takes me 2 installer and or nothing happens.it won't let me install any other programs.when I go 2 uninstall,the online program there is Installer version 3.11...what do I do 2 delete the question mark programs from the home screen??plz help...

press and hold one of the icons. they all should begin to wiggle and there should be a red "x" in the upper left hand corner of each icon. press the x and the phone will ask if you want to delete said program.
