Depends on how you use your device.
I’ve dropped a lot of iPhones back in the day, even had cracked screens a few times but never in the past 11 years I’ve had my camera lenses broken or scratched.

So, personally I don’t see the use for that kind of protection.

Apple did a good job with the iPhone 12 and further iPhones’ screens, so they don’t break as easily as before.

The 13 pro seem to stick out further which is the reason I covered them. I also have insurance but loosing the phone for a week unless I drive an hour to my local store.

I have also had many iPhone Pro models over the years and have never damaged the camera lens. Myself, I have never had any sort of protection on the camera lens.

I do understand that folks want to protect their device considering what they cost these days. Please post the results of how the protection kit works after its been installed on your device for while.

I noticed my XS Max camera lens is cracked on the corner. I have lens covers on my 12 Pro Max and love them. They are the same color as the pacific blue.

I figure that the lenses are sapphire glass and don't really need any more protection than my case gives them, but that's just me.

My photos are great no problems at all. My son is clumsy which is the reason I put the lens protector on the pro. I don’t have them on my mini because they don’t stick out that far like the pro does.

The best way to cure clumsiness is by no protection at all. That gave me more reason to be more careful, back when I was young.
Nowadays I’m way less clumsy than in my younger years. (Not parenting advice)
