Im going to be upgrading soon, want to save some money & gonna stick with the 12 series…… However, I’m torn between comfort in hand vs battery life. Im currently using a XSMax and consisting downsizing to the 12 pro. I upgraded my in-laws to the 12 mini, and I love taking pictures with their phones because the comfort. I’ve always used plus/MAX iPhones and always wished for a lighter more comfortable feeling in the hand but always want that battery life. After one year with my XSMax my battery health is down to 85%…. Anyone made the switch from a MAX sized iPhone to the non max and regret it?

I went from the iPhone 8+ to the iPhone 12 Pro. I don’t miss the larger size one bit. The iPhone 12 is also a great phone. If you’re drawn to the “Pro” phones, then the 12 Pro should be perfect for you.

I tried the 12 pro and just couldn't do it. Battery life was noticable plus view YouTube and twitch on the smaller one was noticable as well

I love the 12 pro max. I have small hands. Doesn’t bother me. It’s a great phone. Downsizing wasn’t in my lane

Hello arc! I’ve been with the 6Ss+, down to the X, back to the 11, then 11 Pro and back in March/Apr I went back up in size to the 12 Pro. No regrets & love the size. It’s the same size as my purple 11 was so it wasn’t awkward for me.

Sometimes I wish I had gone with the 12 Pro Max for more real estate, but I think it would be too much for me…I’m a petite person

Overall, no complaints & not looking back

I wanted to add that I think the best thing to do when making a big decision like this is to try and hold both of them in your hands and see which feels best to you. You can do this by going to need to retailers at cell Apple iPhones. I highly recommend doing this.

I have had several of the Apple iPhones over the year including some of the larger Max models. I have went back to the smaller forum factor because I found the larger devices hurt my hand when gripping the device on long phone calls.

I have been using a 12 Pro since launch and since my twin brother passed in May, I decided to start using his SE2020 model and I find myself liking the smaller forum factor.

I do miss the lack of 5G, but what I use my device for, LTE is sufficient for my daily needs. In the end, I would suggest going to the Apple store and trying the devices your considering before you make you decision. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your brother, I remember you mentioning him a few times on here.

I have just got myself the 12 pro max and love it. came from the 11 pro max and even tho its not much of a difference, I love the form factor of the phone and it is very comfortable in the hand even with no case. sometimes I do wish I just got the 12 pro but I honestly only got the max for the screen size
