128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB?

I was gonna get the terabyte but decided on the 512GB model instead

I prefer my data to be on device while having a cloud backup and I keep everything on it.

Downloaded books, Movies, Music as well as all my documentation no matter how mundane they are like store receipts. I’m pushing 200GB of data soon

I’m just the opposite. I want the phone stripped down and the import stuff in the cloud.

I understand

But I started data hogging because I camp out where they just starting to get spotting weak signals so I have as much off-line content to carry me for a week or two in the woods

Still have to drive 3 miles to send a text.

128gb is more than plenty for me. No need to overspend.

I wanted the 128gb and that’s what I originally ordered but FedEx lost it.

The 256 was only $3 more per month on the ATT Next Up plan so I grabbed while I could.

Gotcha. I buy my phones unlocked so I don’t have to be tied to a carrier. I save a lot of money that way but the phone is what it costs (new).

The wait for 1tb at VZW is until Christmas. Is there anywhere I can just go and buy one?

Which Pro model are you looking for? Best Buy has the VZW 1TB Pro and is shipping them right now. The Apple Store also has both the 1TB Pro and Pro Max.

I just checked my Best Buy on line but not in stock in the store and it just says to order online with no shipping date.

I called my Apple Store this afternoon. No dice. Must depend where you live.

Will they ship it or don’t they have it right now at all? Best Buy is claiming shipping to be received by 11/8 (Phoenix).

I only asked if they had one I could pick up in stock. I don't do $1600 leave it on my porch. I'll wait.

All my photos and files are in the cloud easier to store so I always get the smallest storage on a phone.

I would buy the terabyte option if I could.

But here it seems almost impossible to get it…

So, I keep going with 256.

128GB doesn't seem enough and 512GB/1TB is too much, not just talking about storage but cost.

I went with 256GB again.

I probably have 2TB+ of purchases from Apple alone but do I need to download all of them.

My boy hooked me with Disney+ & Netflix and have Crave, Prime Video and YouTube downloads.

I have 512GB microSD on my Samsung A52 5G and have 36GB left. Again, I don't feel like I need to have everything. I bought it because Kingston had a sale.

I went with the 128 GB model because it is way more than I’ll use or need.

I first got 128 GB too until I found out iPhone 13 Pro does not support ProRes 4K video in 128GB storage option so I swapped to a 256 GB

I delete most stuff as I go along, have a very small photo library and music library, have 2/3 of 64 gig left, so smallest storage will do me.

I said the same until I found out they kill camera features if you don’t get 256 or bigger.

If that’s important to you then it’s a good reason. I’m not huge into photos so I stick with the smaller storage.

Camera and video is huge to me. A big reason why I upgrade.

Well, these newer phones certainly have developed their cameras to the point that, for a lot of people, they don’t have to carry around another camera. That’s huge!
