10W USB power adapter won't charge iPad, but iPhone adapter will.

My 10W iPad power adapter will not charge my iPad, it doesn't even make a noise when I connect it. However my iPhone power adapter does work. Is there any way I can get it to work or wills I need a replacement adapter?

I would say a replacement is necessary, the best way to fix it would probably involve trying to open it up which would void the warranty on it. Apple should just be able to give you a new one without any hassle though.
