I will say it again I never understand why everyone is so obsessed with proving one thing is better than another? Who cares as long as the object you bought does what you need it to that is all that matters.
Exactly. My Palm and Android using friends all tell me how I can't do multitasking and other minor features and even my cousin, who recently switched to an iPhone, still mentions how BB beats the iPhone calendar and blah blah blah. I simple tell them this:
I don't care if my phone doesn't multitask because for my daily usage of it. I don't need multitasking and I don't use the calendar for anything. They say can you stream Pandora while doing other things? I tell them no because I don't use streaming music. Every argument they have on what my phone doesn't do, I come back with that particular feature doesn't apply to my daily needs.
My iPhone fits my needs perfectly and iPhone OS 4.0 just gives me the option of expanding my needs, which probably won't change.
And to keep things in line with the original topic, I think a netbook is inferior to an iPad if you do basic photo sharing, email and internet browsing. If you need something a little bit more capable, then a netbook will be more valuable, but not exponentially superior.
