Looking for Feedback on AT&T's Call Protect App

I've been reading a lot about AT&T's Call Protect App and am looking for feedback. I'm sick and tired of telemarketers and Spam, but I'm a little reluctant to download the app. So, before I dive in, I thought I'd check here on iMore to see if anyone else has tried it.

I don't know anything about the app. With that in mind, I simply created a contact called SPAM. Afterwards, I add that particular contact to the Block list. Any telemarketers who contacts me gets added to the SPAM contact card and is automatically blocked. I've been doing that for years....

I'm guessing it works like Hiya and Truecaller. It's not going to stop all spam and telemarketing, but it helps cut it down. There's thousands in the database. If one calls you, it tells you it's spam or whatever. Then you can block it.
