Well the signal was really good in my condo this morning. At work I only get 1-2 dots inside and I'm getting speeds equal to HSPA+. However, I now get full 5 dots of HSPA+ service inside at work where I only used to get 1-2 and it would drop sometimes. So it's not all bad. I do have wifi at work as well. Hopefully this is some growing pains.

The scientist in me wants to drive around town today and test various spots. And I am on AT&T.

Back at home. Is this supposed to be some kind of joke? I've rebooted and LTE appears to be quite useless in my city.

I've seen this once before with my 5S. Turns out it was related to a tower that received damage due to a storm. It was fixed within a few days and my speeds returned to normal. Only thing is, the LTE symbol was showing up for me as well even though my speeds were only HSPA+ at best.

I'm at my buddy's house now on the opposite side of town. The LTE signal is worse here. The speed is less than 1Mbps... HSPA+ isn't that great here either but it's getting it's normal 3Mbps for this location.

Siri can misspell. I have this server set to Oklahoma City within settings. It still gives me Bixby sometimes

Do the field tests numbers do alot better to determine a week LTE area vs, a strong area? Regarding that, did I read the lower number the better to determine

On my 4S in my house I can have 5 dots and get 1.1 Mbps down & 1.4 Mbps up and in a different spot in my house I can have 1 dot and get 4 Mbps down & 0.5 Mbps up. The signal just says how far away from the tower you are. Data speeds can be affect depending on certain factors like how many people are connected to the tower, how many people are using data at the same time.
