Phillies won the football game yesterday 14-10. Lee didn't look good, and I really hope they didn't waste all of their runs in one game that they would have scored over 2 series.

Still on a high after the Mariners put up an 8 run win to move to 2-0 on their opening series.

I'm feeling good about James Paxton...if Smoak can keep playing like he has, we ought to be able to put the Angels away.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a loyal fan. They have been my team since I was a kid. No team in New Orleans and thanks to WGN I could watch all the games. 30 plus years of pain for me.

At least you have a historic team name...New Orleans would make a team and call it something like the Pelicans...oh wait... :rotfl:

The name pelicans does have history in the state. State bird for one and was name of a minor league baseball team there years ago. Fits the city better than hornets. Didn't like that choice though I would have liked to see the Brass instead.
