Mark forum as read does not always do that

I can't figure out any difference as to why it works some times and not others, but twice now in the iPhone 8 forum, I use the menu command to mark forum as read, and two posts still show 19 and 4 posts unread, in red. If I close the tab and reopen it, they still show as unread - see picture...

I don't know if anyone is working on this, but just now FOUR TIMES I marked the iPhone 8 forum as read, and all the same posts show the red "u unread counts" like I never marked anything read. I even refreshed the page with no difference. Marking as read seems completely broken now.

Yeah, it looks like the number of posts in a thread that are still Unread.
Question, is there another way to upload images to the forum other than thumbnails (paper clip)? They show broken on TapaTalk.
