Type to Siri on MacOS High Sierra using Spotlight?
I liked your article explaining how to type to Siri on MacOS High Sierra.
What I did not like was the fact that I have to click in to the Siri pop-up after I start Siri. I wish I did not have to use my mouse when invoking Siri.
Is there a way to type to Siri after pressing Command-Space?

Hello and welcome.
You can enable type to Siri by going to system preferences > accesibility > Siri > there you’ll see the checkbox to activate it.
After doing this, you can activate Siri with whatever shortcut you’ve set for it (or by clicking the icon in the menu bar -if you have that enabled-) and then just type your query.
Keep in mind that while this option is activated, you won’t be able to use Siri by voice and viceversa. To use one you have to disable the other.
I hope this helps, have a great day :)
