Can Siri add up the bill?

Siri can handle correctly answer queries like "What is $2.50 plus $3.85" and also "What is 2.5 plus 3.85 plus 19.36".

However I can't seem to get her to accept "What is $2.50 plus $3.85 plus $19.36"

Is there some way you can frame the query to Siri so she can add more than two amounts of money at a time(for example in checking a restaurant bill)?

Hey Robert, I personally would just say 'Hey Siri, open the calculator' and then use the calculator instead. Much easier.

Maybe try saying 2 'point' 50 'plus' 3 'point' 85. That might makes things a little more clear for Siri.

I just asked Siri the exact question you posed in dollar amounts and was given the correct answer verbally and visually.

Thanks guys for your help. It must be a country issue, because I am in Australia and I get the following response (I have latest 10.3.2 iOS).
Siri even included a copy of my iMore post in her reply!! Go figure...

On behalf of all who responded, you’re very welcome. Having said that, I’m currently running iOS 11 with improved Siri support so the problem may not be a country issue.
