Why can't Siri see my unread emails?

siri can't see my unread emails

When I ask siri to check my emails it tells me I have no new emails when I do

Welcome to iMore,

Perhaps resetting Siri will help (ie; going through the Siri setup again). She's able to pull my new and unread email up for me, and also tell me how many I have since a certain date.
