My Apple ID was disabled?

Not sure if this belongs here if not it can be moved. But I keep getting emails every so often that my Apple ID was disabled. There is no reason for it to be disabled. Here is the message. To me it seems false and so does the email address seems fishy. Can anyone advise if this is indeed a phishing email. I'm not doing anything with it and taking the chance that it is false. What would be the email any issues with an account would come from?

Log in to appleid.apple.com on your own to check your account status.

If anything looks amiss, change your password. Then call Apple directly.

I get those from time to time. It's phishing. Delete the email. Apple doesn't do it that way.
