Theme icon problems black sqaure or icon overlay
Well I found a fix only it didn't work on iOS 5 grrr now I guess I'll have to search through the springboard on the phone. I'll update later if I find the answer. -

yes if you use Winterboard and you have a theme then just connect your phone and use iExplorer to get into the theme Root/Private/var/stash/Themesxxxxx your theme will be in there save the picture you want to use as a .png file and drop it into the theme.
