After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
So in other words we're not supposed to ever request improvements? I hate to see what the world would look like if everyone subscribed to your philosophy. Bugger off!!
I wasn't looking for criticism, just making a statement. No research should have been required for such a thing, the most basic phones out there do this. And for the record, I did do research, tons of it. I began reading this site and others like it very early last year. I purchased my 3G...
Inability to change email alert tone!!
C'mon Apple, you brag about how many millions of iPhones you have sold, yet one of the main functions people use it for is not customizable. It is really annoying hearing the new mail alert and always having to grab my phone to see if it was mine or not...
As a former BB user, I previously used the google talk app all of the time, it is one of the biggest things I miss. I know the iPhone has a google talk web app, but you have to keep it open in order for it to function, as soon as you go back to the home screen or switch apps, it closes. I...
I had no issues with 2.0 or 2.0.1, however 2.0.2 seems to have slowed my phone down considerably. I never used to experience the spinning wheel on the screen while things loaded, but now I do quite frequently.
I can tell you that I do have several small scratches on my 3G that came about from incidental use. I now have a anti-glare screen protector on mine from the apple store, not only am I protected, but the screen feels better to use plus no more fingerprints.
I would like the notification badging in a future version as well. One bug I recently discovered: when an item is not completed by the due date and becomes past due the due date shifts to "tomorrow"
Not true. I bought a case along with my phone when I got it, but really enjoyed the look and feel of the phone without it, so I removed the case. After only a few weeks I now have several small scratches on my screen. Nothing major, you really have to look to see them, but they are there.
What I would like to see is not a new app but a modification to an existing one. I would like the calendar icon to have an indicator on it telling you how many appointments you have that day similar to the way new message and missed call indicators appear.
What year are you in? If haven't gotten through gross yet the Netters apps are nice, though for the price you can purchase the entire set of cards (although they will not fit in your pocket). There is a new pt tracking/EMR app out that would be alot nicer than using notecards while on...
Ditto to cribbage. Also, the one thing I really miss from Windows Mobile/Pocket PC is a game from Sean O'connor called Slay. I emailed him about an iPhone version and he thought it was a great idea but lacked the knowledge to pull it off.
Sean O'Connor's Windows Games - Slay
I don't know how reliable this is, but when speaking to an ATT rep yesterday regarding the pricing structure, I asked about the old 2G iPhones. I was told that stores which had them remaining in stock would be placing them back on sale until their stock is depleted. The rep did not know what...
