I had the same problem. Finally figured out that I had to disable the antivirus program that I was running. Worked fine after that and enabled it after the download.

I just got off of the phone with a AT&T rep (from another country of course) and was told that it would cost me an additional $45 monthly and I would lose my unlimited data plan! WTF is up with AT&T??:mad:

So I still use "root" as the username even after the passwords have been changed? Where is the second password used?

Problem...I'm currently using WinSCP to SSH into my phone with the default passwords. I changed my passwords, without a problem, using the above instructions but now when I open WinSCP to get into my phone, it says the password is incorrect. Anyone else use this program that can help?

Thanks, I've tried that but for some reason there's pictures missing from the folder on my pc even. Where could they have gone? Now there's a new folder with numerous folders in it that are numbered but I cant open them to see what they are. They're labeled as iPod/iPhone cache. Any ideas or clues?
