After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
I would love to have and iPhone 4s. Siri is obviously a major reason but the processor and screen is. I don't carry a camera around so the newest shooter is a great have! I'm on a 3GS right now and can't really afford an upgrade. PLEASE TiPb, hook me up!
I would love to have this! I drive an old truck and it doesn't have a radio in it because there is an electrical problem. With this speaker I can replace the old Sony boom box I have in my seat beside me!
Her real concern is that if MS files suit it will end up a legitimate claim and force her company and others like her to discontinue a pivotal feature in her app.
As for your concern I wouldn't worry too much being that if it did find it's way into litigation it would be there for so long it...
I think it should have a way to cut, copy and paste phone numbers from safari and SMS. Also selective cut copy and paste from SMS.
I would also like to see the jailbreak tweak PhoneHint a native function so you can type the first few numbers that corresponds with the letters in someone's name...
You could probably get to it if you disassemble your phone however you may inadvertantly damage the phone. You're best bet would be go to an Apple Store if you have one around.
I agree with this! I however will end up having to wait to get the i6 (or 5 if the next one up is 4s branded). I had to swith from VZW to AT&T due to unfortunate circumstances and got a 3Gs for $9 at the begining of the year.
I wish I had been able to get the i4. It's a beautiful phone. But...
There are a couple of places around where I live that do the repairs like applefanboi said. I don't think I would want to send my phone to a company I found online but if you find a local place and can talk to anyone about how well they do the repairs that would definatly be an option.
I am a...
I agree with this. The only thing I would want to add would be calendar support in the "info shade". Maybe like the next three to four entries. And I read somewhere that there is a customizable dictionary, so those widgets and that dictionary and I will for sure be running pure.
@ghostface147 Lol so I should wait till someone offers lol? Sounds like a plan :)
I agree rishi_tank. I like having more than just the last months emails considering I'm horrible about not creating folders in my email lol.
All in all it sounds like iOS 5 is shaping up very nicely! Can't wait...
I'd be careful about bringing this up here lol, as it's fround upon and against Apple Developer regulations.
But on that note I'm kinda sketchy about paying someone I don't know somewhere far away from me to do that lol ;)
How are you liking it so far?
I wish I could lol, but I REALLY cannot afford $100 just to try out beta firmwears lol. I tried to with the "activate without a dev. account" trick but the phone is still inop as you can't activate it only bypass the activation. I'm REALLY looking forward to this fall.
I think iOS 5 will...
Yeah I know lol, but overall, aside from SMS/MMS I've been pretty unhappy about push on my iPhone. It kinda made me laugh when they proudly brought up their push notification system they've built durring the WWDC Keynote lol.
I have a question/concern about the notifications.
Notification Center is a great idea however my notifications on my 3Gs are so sporatic that I'm curious about NC's true functionallity.
Can anyone tell me if the push notifications are "pushing" any better on iOS 5 than on previous versions?
I...
