This for the most part is it in ios 6 right? I cant remember in the ios 5 betas if they released anymore features or just made sure things worked properly.

These betas seem stable to me. A lot more stable than the ios 5 betas. A lot of the apps work already. Nothing seemed to work on those ios 5 betas. I just wanted to add some more customization to the device. I saw the jailbreak for the 4 but not the 4s.

Has anyone seen a way to jailbreak ios 6 on the iphone 4s. I have been looking around for a while for information on it and its like nobody is talking about it. Thanks in advance.

You can go straight from 4.2.10 to 5 beta 5 or beta 6. If your on a pc use the latest version of Redsn0w to hacktivate your device. There are plenty of instructions out there on the net on how to install ios5 on your iphone. It's not that difficult to do at all.

No I did not have any issues loading up beta 6 or even jailbreaking it. If you did the update OTA I would try doing it via USB.

People have been reporting that it does not work. The word is that Tether me does work.

SBSettings doesnt work on 4.2.10. If your talking about ios 5 then you would want to use BB Settings.

Yeah... It works well. I downloaded ios 5 beta 5 and now beta 6 is out. lol. I want to try it, but I dont want to lose anything, ya know?! Have you tried beta 6? have you seen a working ios 5 working jailbreak app list?

I went and downloaded the the firmware for the device that I wanted to downgrade to. Downloaded redsn0w mac 0.9.8b4. I also downloaded the latest version of Tiny Umbrella and made sure that my itunes was current. On my mac I went in and changed the host files to point to Cydia's servers. I...

I know personally I have tried this and it did not work. Cydia says that my 4.2.9 and 4.2.10 blobs are saved but when I try to downgrade it will not work. Is there anything else you can think of to try?

Cydia does show that the apps are installed however they are not working. SbSettings shows up in my list of installed apps but I can not activate it. I have rebooted several times. Kind of odd

Not that I have seen. I tried to install SBSettings and infinfolders. No luck on either. Going though ifunbox and trying to reboot didn't cause my phone to brick so thats a good thing. I still have no tweeks up and working tho. I think the issue is that we aren't jailbreaking 4.2.10 but somehow...

I tried this method and it seems to not be working for me. I tried to install sbsettings and infinifolders. I guess it depends on the tweek that you are trying to install. Let me know if there is anything else that I need to do.

If you have your SHSH blobs saved you can downgrade, but if you don't it is not possible. I have tried many times many different ways, but it seems as if there is nothing that you can do about it. The 4.2.10 tethered Jailbreak is terrible. Anything that you add from cydia that requires a reboot...

I am having the same issue as well. I have looked all over the net and found no fixes. Seems like there is just an issue with this tethered Jailbreak. I miss my tweeks and being able to customize. Anyword of anything new coming out?! Anyone have another method for us to try?
