After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
I'm looking for a single dongle that will let me simultaneously charge my iPad and iPhone when travelling. I don't want a dock, just wall plug that I'd attach 2 sync cables to.
I found this online but am looking at alternatives:

I've had my iPhone 4 since July and have actually been pretty happy with the battery life. However, over the last 3-4 days, the battery has all of a sudden started draining very fast. In the past, I've been able to go a whole day without charging. Now I can barely make it to mid-afternoon...
Here's the case I want.

I'm looking for a thin plastic case that is easy to take on and off.
Best Buy sells an iSimple kit that is like an FM transmitter but wired into your car stereo. It also charges. Not perfect audio quality but if you have an OEM car stereo without an Aux input, it works pretty well. Cost is around $130.
I'm looking for an alternative to the Apple branded component AV cable that works with the iPhone and iPad. Does anyone have a more cost-effective option?
I bought a generic smartphone case made by Case Logic from my local Target that I've been using. My iPhone 4 with an Incipio NGT case on it fits fine in it.
For my free case from Apple, I got a Belkin Shield Micra. However, I don't really like the case and am not using it. I'd be most interested in trading it for a Incase Snap or Apple Bumper. But will entertain any and all offers as I'm still looking for that "perfect case".
I got my Belkin Micra yesterday. However, I don't really care for the case. It is very slippery and doesn't really meet my needs. Oh well. It was free.
The search for my perfect case continues...
Does the Nude provide any relief for the screen? That is, if you lay the phone screen-side down, is the screen touching the surface it's resting on or is it raised up a bit?
