After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
If you are jailbroken, there are at least two apps that will disable your password while you are on your home WIFI network, or one of your choosing, work for example, and automatically enable the password when you leave that area. CleverPin is one and the other is called AutoProtect. Both work...
Until Apple allows 3rd parties to make and sell Lightning products under licence, buy only from Apple. Otherwise you will just loose your money and possibly damage your iDevice.
It would probably be easy to make, except you would have to submit it to Apple for approval. And then wait for the laughter to die down at Apple, so they can reject it, out of hand for use of illegal APIs, or any other reason they can come up with.
The app I miss most on IOS6 is, AutoProtect, it turns password protection off when you are in a defined wifi area, and on when you leave it.
Second is SBSettings. Most everything else I can live with easily on IOS6 for iPhone. PS: My iPad3 on IOS5.1.1, won't be un-jailbroken , until a...
If you must, yes, you don't have to use iTunes, you can use wifi. iTunes is easier, faster, and everything gets backed up properly. You do do backups don't you?

I have had mine since intro day, 9/21/12, and have had no problems with any wear anywhere on the case or phone. Exactly where are you seeing the wear on the rubber case?

I found this on Apple support, it works, no more error message.
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in...
Yes you may have a faulty phone or charger. But, keep in mind that the phone will charge up to 100% and then turn the charge circuit off, until the charge drops to some value, which appears to vary from device to device, then will charge back up again to 100%. So, it you leave blue tooth, wifi...
Car charger puts out a little more current usually. And iPad charger (A/C) charges iPhone and iPod quicker than the iPhone/iPod charger, because, more available current.
