Could you test it on a combination of another computer/connection?, use your computer in another connection, and other computer in your connection, so you can discard better. The day all the "assumptions" work like expected then everyone will be happy.

It works by "tier" like apps, so they have the same ranges, with min at $0.99.

Look for a cross-platform tool, there are many of them. You will only need to compile it and maybe minor conditional changes in code for each platform supported by the tool.
