If you are jailbroken, you can get an app called Notifier thru Cydia. It provides the audio beep for missed calls, voicemail, texts, emails, etc until you acknowledge it. Works great.

Would u happen to have ActivateMMS2G installed? That thing drained my battery in about 6 hrs as well. After I uninstalled it, battery went back to lasting 2-3 days w/light normal use.

If you need any help seting up the phone with TMo, just call Cust Service and ask for their PDA Support. They have CSR's who specifically support the iPhone. The ironic thing is that they are way more friendly and helpful than any ATT rep will ever be and it's not even their phone. LOL

I am with TMo and have used both the 2G and the 3G models with them. Like the OP said, with the 3G, you just disable the 3G mode. You need to get the correct Smartphone data plan, it's $25.

I think you're posting in the wrong thread.....but try turning off the 3G and then pop your SIM card back in.

Had a BB Curve 8320 with TMobile. Loved the phone....then I got an iPhone and I'll never use another phone again. Nothing even remotely comes close to an iPhone!

Well, in case any other PC people cant get the benm.at method to work for them, I would definitely recommend MiWi (you can get it thru the RockApp in Cydia). I installed it and got it to work within minutes so I'm happy. :) It's only suppose to be a 10 day trial, then it costs $10 but it works...

Well.......now I know why we're told to turn 3G off. Once I turned it On, I completely lost my signal and got "No Service" in the upper left hand corner. Had to pull the SIM out and put it back in to get the signal back.

Yes, I am trying to use it with EDGE but I will try turning on the 3G and see what happens. With T-Mobile, we are actually told by the customer service reps to turn 3G off because TMo operates on a different frequency than AT&T's 3G.
