After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
Take a look at this article. The motion that you make as you raise your phone to speak is crucial. I was not able to get raise to speak to work 100% until I followed the directions on this site:

The resolution is not exact, feel free to scale down when you set as wallpaper. I also have a really high resolution version for 17" macbook pro
I'm getting quite anxious...
I ordered my iphone 4 from the apple store on Jun 15, 2010 at 01:42 PM PDT. My order status went to "Prepared for Shipment" on friday, but still no "shipped" notice. the ship by date still shows as "delivers on jun 24th". I have no reason to believe it won't...
There are definitely some really good ones in this forum
Wow there are a few really good posts from people that need a mophie more deserving than I, but I will throw my hat in the ring nonetheless.
I do a lot of air travel for business, and I cannot stand watching movies on the airplane...
that's what I'm thinking too :-) I let out a big Whoop whoop when they announced support for in app purchases. right now the full version will forward you to the redbox website to complete the rental for your selected movie. but hopefully after 3.0 we should not get any flack from apple around...
The Lite version of the Redbox iphone app is now live in the app store. We are still waiting for Apple to finish the review of the paid version. The lite version is free and does contain ads. The paid version will be $1.99 and contain no ads, as well as the ability to rent a movie, and more...

well the app is not dead yet. it's just that the purchase process will be a little "clunkier" that we'd like--the functionality will still be there. as a result we'll probably knock a $1 off from the price of the full version.
Big setback during app store approval process
We just ran into a huge snag with theapp store approval for the redbox app: I just got a call from Apple that they do not allow in-app purchases, and our DVD rental page qualifies as an in-app purchase. We were advised that instead we'll have to...
There are a lot more codes than just the Monday codes. The app actually integrated with the largest redbox code sharing forum, insideredbox.com. In the first release the integraton is one way. In up coming releases youlll also be able to post new codes as well.
We'll see what the market will bear ;). one bonus with this app is that you will actually save money if you use the promo codes available from the app (especially if you are new to redbox promo codes). In which case the app will pay for itself.

Tentatively we are shooting for the first half of March to get it live in the App Store. All communication will be moving over to the new site. We're planning on getting a developer's blog setup soon for the new website.
Just an update, We've partnered with the folks at insideredbox.com to also provide promocodes with the redbox iphone application. We've formed a new company and are still on track to release the redbox iphone application.
We have a new website and updated demo videos and screen shots...
So part of the problem is that this app was created totally outside the control of Redbox. Functionality it's pretty solid, and ready to go into itunes. Legally, I could get the pants sued off of me if I do that. So i'm working with another company that is interested in buying the IP and working...
