I ordered one from apple.com over the weekend with a delivery date of Oct. 17. I woke up to an email that it had shipped and would be delivered this Friday. All my local stores haven't started carrying them and an Apple store is more than an hour drive.

I received my confirmation around 3:40 EST on the 14th. I just checked UPS by using my cell number as a reference. My phone originated in Nashville and is now in Louisville. UPS had no information listed until last night. Scheduled delivery on Friday, end of day.:D

Ordered Black 32 GB from Apple Store with confirmation at 3:40 for 9/21 delivery. Tried Sprint's website and the Apple app beginning at 3 am. It took almost 40 minutes but it's accomplished!

Finally got through on the apple store site. 32 black slate....whew...going back to bed.

Unable to order on sprint.com or the apple site. Getting error from the apple app as well. :(
