No commitment price - 2 year contract required - Gee, thanks AT&T!

To be accurate, for those 11 days the price of her iPhone 4 is $400 more, right now. One would expect AT&T to announce some kind of early upgrade for people who are beyond 2010, however, that's likely to be months from now. I think AT&T had some kind of quarter-by-quarter schedule for early...

No commitment price - 2 year contract required - Gee, thanks AT&T!

I don't have any problem paying $200 more for an early upgrade if I've only had my 3GS for a year. However, I do have a problem paying $400 more than people who bought a first-day 3GS a couple of months earlier than I did, especially, if I have to sign a 2 year contract with an ETF fee in...

No commitment price - 2 year contract required - Gee, thanks AT&T!

I'm now just over one year on my 3GS plan. I'm hoping that when AT&T opens up their iPhone 4 order system, I will be at least eligible for an early upgrade price of $200 off the no-committment price. If not, then I'll just have to wait until AT&T decides to push forward the regular upgrade...

No commitment price - 2 year contract required - Gee, thanks AT&T!

After a call to Apple, they are saying that the no-commitment price is what you get when it hasn't been a year since your last upgrade. The thing is that everyone due for an upgrade in 2010 gets $400 off right now. I'm due in Feb 2011. I guess I'll have to wait until AT&T decides to push up...

    Upgrade price

My eligibility date comes up in 02/2011 but when I go to the apple website they are giving me the no-commitment price of $699 for the 32G. The ATT site, obviously, isn't working for upgrades right now.

is anyone sticking with there 3gs for now?

I'd like to upgrade but I'm not showing up as eligible for any discount. I've had the 3GS for about a year I guess. That means $700 for the 32G according to the Apple website. Assuming that I would be eligible for an early discount this fall, that would mean I could probably get it for $300...

furbo.org - The iPad needs user accounts

Craig Hockenberry (furbo.org) writes an open letter to Steve Jobs saying that the iPad needs user accounts. I heartily agree. I would like to implement the erase-if-10-wrong-tries function of the lock, however, I routinely let a 5-year old play games and watch videos on my iPad. I can...

TiPb Give Away: 10 FREE Slacker Plus Subscriptions Up for Grabs!

Sneaker Tight by Vanessa Hudgins, that girl from High School Musical. Yes, I rock to tween music because Slacker is really popular with the kids when I'm driving them around. They love the album art and the ability to peek at the next song.

A2DP on iPhone 3 first impressions

Motorola S9 only in mono? So I ordered a Motorola S9 (non HD) after reading the review on this site and have been using it on iPhone 3.0 beta 3. Aside from being a little uncomfortable, I only get audio out of the left side. I think it might be a pairing issue. I have read that the...
