I had the same with my 2010 MacBook when I tried the beta version several weeks ago.

Had the beta on my MacBook 2010 and everything seemed to work. I didn't know that there were a few functions that my older Mac couldn't do until I read Rene's latest article. I hope the new Macs come next month. If they are good enough, I might even buy one.

I got mine 5 years ago, new. I too found it fantastic and wondered why it had taken me so long to make the switch. Now I am wondering if I should make the switch to a MacBook air. Perhaps I will when they have retina. I hope you get as much enjoyment with your MacBook as I have had with mine.

Interesting. Here in Sydney Australia, if cellular is off the only data coverage is wifi hotspots (home and freebie). Usually depends on our plan as to having cellular on or off (I think we have a lot more choice of carriers and plans here).
