Re: Screen blacking out when streaming on Apple TV (3rd Gen)
I do not think that it is my Internet connection because I have an XBOX that I use for streaming occasionally and that works fine and when I stream using my iPad that works as well so I doubt that it's the Internet connection...
Screen blacking out when streaming on Apple TV (3rd Gen)
Greetings,
I have a 3rd Gen Apple TV with which I have a peculiar issue that has been happening for a while but has recently become much worse. Basically whenever I am streaming on Netflix, you-tube or another service, the screen goes...
I don't mind them adding this feature but for goodness sakes, don't set it to "on" by default; a lot of people probably don't know this feature is on in the background. I didn't find out about it till this morning. I shudder to think what would happen if I was watching Netflix on WIFI only to...
Read emails declared as unread
I have been using my 6 plus since December 2014 and loving it, however there is this one annoying issue that keeps occurring with emails that I receive. Specifically whenever I receive a new email and open it, the mail program alerts me to the arrival of a new...
It only has an HDMI and Thunderbolt port. With regards to HDMI, it will work provided my new monitor does not have a resolution higher than 1080p and my plan is to get a monitor that is higher in resolution than 1080p for "future proofing" purposes. Beyond 1080p, my HDMI spec has to be 2.0 to...
My Mac mini does have an HDMI port, in fact that is how I currently have it hooked up to my failing monitor. Yes I could get a another standard 1080p display that has an HDMI port, but as a gamer, I'm trying to "future proof" myself by getting a higher resolution monitor that runs at 60 frames...
I have been doing some more research on this and there is an incredible amount of conflicting information out there. According to a few that I've read the display port method will most likely not work due to a lot of different factors including diverse PC configurations. There other ways to make...
The current video card in my PC has DVI and HDMI ports but I do intend to upgrade the video card very soon and I think most of them now have display port. I certainly hope that there is a display port to Thunderbolt adapter because if that were the case I would definitely buy Apple's Thunderbolt...
These monitors would definitely have worked for me, but as you said it looks like I'm out of luck because of Thunderbolt 1 on my Mac mini. I wish Thunderbolt was like USB where it is backwards compatible with the previous generation.
I have a late 2012 Mac Mini and my current 1080p monitor is failing and I would like to replace it with a Thunderbolt Display or a display that has Thunderbolt port. I am aware of Apple's own Thunderbolt Display. However this will not work for me because I have a Windows computer that I use for...
Has anyone noticed that there is a difference in battery life depending on the browser used. I noticed last week that when using the chrome browser there seemed to be an increased battery drain. I know the 2014 Air's battery is supposed to last 11h, but I had the distinct feeling that I was...
I have a 2014 MacBook Air that I absolutely love, however there is one nagging problem that keeps reoccurring. Basically my WIFI connection drops for no reason and it seems to happen when I'm using my battery operated Wifi hot spot that I got from Wind Mobile. I don't think it's the Wifi radio...
Not a chance, and I'm a big guy with big hands. I'm never entirely sure that I've got a firm grip on it with one hand so I'm always thinking that if I don't support it with other hand, I might drop it.
I switched from Android to the iPhone (6 plus) this past Sunday and this is my first iPhone. The one issue that's bugging me is the audio quality when I'm playing music I find it to be a bit sub par. I turned the built in equalizer on but it didn't make that much of a difference. Does anyone...
Good to know, I'll definitely be looking in to getting this you never know when it might come in handy. I was so focused on getting a USB drive for Time Machine and document files that I completely forgot about the SD Card slot.

The simplest solution would have been for them to have added whatever was in "other" directly to the Operating System category putting it in a mysterious category called "other" will inevitably peak are users curiosity.
