If it's true, that would be nice. I plan on skipping this next iteration of the Apple iPhone anyway. Lets wait and see what happens.

...Some of the rumored features of the 2020 iPhones has me intrigued, like the full screen Touch ID, and probably a 5G modem. I’ll be more than likely skipping this year’s iPhone releases as my XS Max is going strong , and I definitely want to get some years out of it, so with that said, all of the supposed 2020 goodness is what I’m interested in.

I was planning on skipping this year's model anyway, and shooting for the 2020 model. I just got a brand new 6s Plus in November. It should get iOS 13, so I'm good for now.

I was also planning a new device in 2020 however the 2019 models sound very interesting ,have to wait till Sept. and see what they bring .

Keeping my Xr for the long haul. My phone lives in either a lifeproof or a defender case, as long as my phone runs great I’ll be keeping it due to the small camera. As rough as I am that new huge camera area is just a crack waiting to happen for me. 2020 phones sound nice but I’ll probably be happy until at least 2022 or after with this Xr.

I'm in the wait and see camp but if this holds true then I could see myself waiting for the 2020 iPhone as this year's iPhones aren't peeking my interest much.

I plan to maintain my X to, at least, 2020 anyway. And for me only a revamp in design will make me pay 1000 plus dollars for an iPhone again. That's absolutely not a bargain price for me.

I hear that. I’m still rocking the iPhone X. Except for replacing the battery last December, I don’t plan on upgrading.

My son just graduated from high school last week so we bought him the XS gold 256gb. That should last him awhile.

I plan on keeping my xs max (complete with Apple battery case) until next year. My husband has the same setup (just not in pink like me lol) and my son has the xr with a battery case too. Love this setup and it’ll easily last me till next year.

This will to some extent, fit in with my intentions for my XS, which are to keep the thing as long as possible. By which time we will know more about 5G, in fact we will probably have found that it will be too expensive to use and does not work well in rural areas( quelle suprise !) I predict this mess will not quite be sorted out by 2023 which is when I think I will need a new phone (all going well).

Ideally I’ll keep my xs Max for a couple more years. But it’s possible I cave and upgrade to the 2020 version. I have no reason to do so. But that hasn’t stopped me in the past.

I’m always wanting to upgrade every year, but I’m certain I will skip the 2019 lineup. My XSMax is in perfect condition. I would rather pay this phone off and keep it, then see what 2020 offers.

I don’t have any plans on getting a new phone this year. I said that last year though too- LOL. But seriously my 10 S max is just fine and I see no reason to change at this point. Same thing goes for my Apple Watch.

The more I think about it the more I’m considering not upgrading this year and keeping my XS max. Phone contracts for the XS Max are now $30 a month more expensive that my current contract is with my company. I shudder to think what the new phone will cost

I'm going to wait and see what the 2019 lineup looks like before deciding what I'm going to do. Upgrade to the XS Max if I don't like the 2019 lineup, keep the 7 Plus another year, or yes, go back to Android.

I don’t agree. Don’t go back to Android. It’s evil, it’s bad. They spy for the Chinese

The least you could do is upgrade to the XS Max.
