I don't know how much I'm willing to pay for it. I'd bet my life that everyone in this thread who says they won't be buying it are going to buy it anyway. Happens every single year.

I have a 256GB iPhone X and I feel like an ***** paying $1,149 for this thing. I'll never pay that much again for a device. $1,000 tops, and that's for the highest end model. Not a penny more.

The $1,150 I spent on my iPhone X is about the max I’m willing to spend on a smartphone. The good news is I think Apple realized that even Apple users have some level of price sensitivity after less than expected iPhone X sales.

I truly indeed enjoy using my iPhone X - so much so that I’ll consider passing up the newest device this fall. We’ll see.

I am in the same boat. Thinking of holding onto the x for another year (unless apple drastically increases the bands that are included in the new iphone to account for 600mhz with tmo and potential 5g)

And if Apple in their infinite wisdom decides that 256 will be replaced by 512, then that’s what I’ll be getting.

My 256 GB iPhone X costs $1149. I have no intentions on going higher than that. If I'm being real, $1149 was a tough pill to swallow for a cell phone. But I loved the design so I went with it. I'm definitely not paying more than $1149.

I have the same one. Paid about $1500 altogether with tax, screen saver, case, and AppleCare. I’ve promised myself I’m not upgrading this year. I hope I can stick with it.

I already have some trouble with putting the X in my pants leg pocket. Where am I going to put a 6.5” one.

On the price. If it’s $1149 for the X, than you have to be looking at about that much just for the lower storage one. Apple isn’t going to come down in prices, everyone knows that. A bigger iPhone with the same storage is going to cost the same as the X? Really??? I don’t think so. But I could be wrong. We’ll see in the fall.

Yea I didn't even factor in the AppleCare+ costs and the case and the glass screen protector.

Yea...I'm going to try my bestest to keep the X lol. The next generation of iPhones will need to come with a waffle maker or something to truly get me to switch. The X is really a solid device.

The total size of the 6.5" model is the same size as the 8 Plus. Only the screen is edge to edge like the X. My 6s Plus (same size as 8 Plus) fits my pockets fine. But I don't wear tight jeans.
