What's not outlined in The Constitution is left to the States. Taking the right away for a state to govern it self and giving that authority to a centralized government is the very definition of communism.

Every American has the right to dear arms....
No it is not, at all the definition of communism, it has nothing to do with whether the power is in the states hand or the federal governments hands. At all. Come on man, please go read a book on what defines a country as communist.

Even if you knew nothing about communism do a simple thought experiment , and you will see why your definition couldn't possibly make sense . What if a country has no states and is small enough to be governed under one central government, then by your definition it would be communist. Is Barbados communist?

This is the fundamental problem I have with these type of discussions many people don't even stop to think about whether what say makes anytype of sense at all.

Communism is where everything is owned in common rather than by individuals. In theory and practice, it was introduced to keep everyone on the same level playing field. But then you have China. The citizens do what they are told or they the get the heavy handedness of the government, such as being thrown in prison. They have no protesting rights, free speech, right to bear arms, right to...well...pretty much nothing unless the government says it's OK. Russia was like this until the end of the cold war, now under Putin, it's headed right back that way.

Conservatives want US to be responsible for ourselves. Hence, smaller government and less regulation. Most people don't want to be on government entitlements but the liberals make it hard for most to be independent. Give you this, give you that, moms can stay home because they now can have health care, blah blah blah. Alexander Hamilton said it best...."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end ."

Lets not forget, the U.S. is not a true democracy. We are a republic with democratic values and conservative practice. Until the ACA, this was primarily true but we are headed for a centralized government with socialistic regulation. Next stop....communism.

The Workers Party of Barbados was a Marxist political party in Barbados. The party was established in 1985 by George Belle.

Fox News: This year, more ObamaCare mandates are coming. Penalties will rise, serious rate hikes will kick in (double digit in many places) and the employer mandate (which Obama delayed in an attempt avoiding it becoming an election issue) will kick in. Congress must act immediately and repeal ObamaCare!

Fox News: ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber was caught on video calling Americans “stupid” AGAIN! Even liberal hero Howard Dean said ObamaCare was “written by a bunch of elitists” who don’t “fundamentally understand the American people.” ObamaCare must be repealed!

On MSNBC's Morning Joe today, Howard Dean had a terse reaction to Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber's recently unearthed comments about the "stupidity" of the American voter in regards to passing the legislation.

"The problem is not that he said it. The problem is that he thinks it. I'm serious. The core problem under this damn law is that it was put together by a bunch of elitists who don't really fundamentally understand the American people. That's what the problem is," Dean, a doctor, said Wednesday.

Like others I don't want it in the Unread list. If the opinions were varied and there was actual discussion I wouldn't mind. That's not what is happening. It's one point of view that keeps being re opened.
When it appears in the unread sections with a clear non-tech title, simply skip over it. As for varied opinions, the political forums already contain varied opinions. The problem often arises when "varied" opinions equate to only agreeable opinions. Some people are far less tolerant of the opinions of others than they'd like to admit, and often demand that they be silenced. Anyway, simply ignore the thread or any post you are not in agreement with. It really is that simple.
