iPhone 6s problem with photo and video just a gray box

Hi Rene I'm having a problem with photos and videos on an iPhone 6s. Where the pictures and video should be it is just a gray box but it says photo or video. I am running the latest version of iOS.

If you have them backed up to iCloud, do a restore and set up with the back up. But first, try a hard reset.
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

That doesn't work, try Reset All Settings.
Reset All Settings
Go to Settings >General >Reset >Reset All Settings. This resets to default everything in Settings, including notifications, alerts, brightness, and clock settings like wake up alarms.

That doesn't work, then restore with your iCloud back up.

Here's what I'd do, in order:

1. Force quit Photos.app and relaunch it to see if they load.
2. Hard reboot your iPhone.
3. Toggle iCloud Photo Library on and off. (Just make sure your photos have properly synced to iCloud.com first)
4. Restore your iPhone from backup.
