    So I just found out the hard way editing your photos via extensions destroys your EXIF data and has been this way since iOS 8 launched.

    How has apple not fixed this yet?

    Good question, and hopefully the issue will be resolved with the next iOS update.

    One can only hope, crazy to hear that through 3 iterations it hasn't been updated.

    Not all lose the EXIF data. Camera+ retains the data. Well, all but the direction I was facing when I took the shot. It did give my city. But other apps, like Litlely , did lose the data.
