My heart is heavy as my beloved Buddy has received his wings. R.I.P...you will truly be missed .
We are with you in your sorrow. And pet-passings are as significant as the loss of 'human' loved ones IMHO.

I am so very sorry!!! I just saw this and know how painful the loss of a beloved pet is.
'Boo' in a stand-off with one of several monkeys who often gather on an out-building roof. Note the raising of the hair on her neck and back
Are those Monkeys friendly?
Most are wary of people, especially the older ones. The youngsters can be curious but some have attitude too. We do 'share' our mango tree with them ( as if we have choice) Best comparison I can make to NA critters is they are like raccoons in a way. Cute but destructive. This one used to 'take up a perch' like he owned the place
LOL . So in other words there like stray cats/dogs? Awwww
Unless you are in agriculture. Crop losses can be devastating and pests are next to weather related issues and praedial larceny ( theft of crops) as high risks. There used to be a bounty on monkey heads if delivered to the police station ( 60's & 70's)
Wow. I had no idea.
WOW, No wonder Boo doesn't like them.
