Took Bronx to the vet last night around 2am. Turns out he didn’t have Parvo. So it might’ve been parasites. And since they were never vaccinated they had it long enough that it had killed Bean. I chose to surrender the puppy so he could get the best care. I could not justify the 475 they estimated would be the cost for treatment for a dog that I only had for 6 days. I went there with the intent to have him euthanized since he was deteriorating dramatically and just thought about what had happened to his brother 24 hours earlier. Taking him back home to “think about it” was not an option for me as I thought every second was valuable.

Is there a way you could leave your puppy there for a while to get better then go pick him up later, when he’s back in shape?

No. Unfortunately that was not an option. It would not have been “cost effective” for them. But once he’s better they will put him up for adoption right across the street and my sons friend will begin to go there soon this week to see if he sees him and adopt him. However, im sure the staff there will have first pick for him. He was so adorable.
