That's right, it's the debut of iMore's weekly photography contest! This week's theme is flowers in celebration of springtime!

Make sure you take a look at these posts for tips on getting beautiful photos:

http://www.imore.com/2012/02/10/rule-thirds/
http://www.imore.com/2012/03/03/negative-space/
http://www.imore.com/2012/02/25/macro-photography/

The rules are simple: the photo must have been taken with an iPhone or iPad. You *are* allowed to edit the photo, but the catch is that all edits must be made with an iPhone or iPad app. Please make sure you indicate which app(s) you used to edit your photos.

You are allowed as many submissions as you want, but we recommend you only submit what you believe to be the best :)

The prize? We'll convert your photo into an official iMore wallpaper, showcase it on the main page, and send you an iMore tshirt?

So what are you waiting for? Go out and get some epic flower photos! Go!

Thank you! But I really don't deserve to have a contest named for me. But ok. I accept this honor.

Spring is flowering!

Entry

Touched up with the one and only Camera+.

Amazing photo editing tool. The AF lock seems to work better than stock IMO.

Used a lens I pulled from a DVD ROM, and Snapseed to tweak

I had an old DVD Rom on my desk, so decided to see if I could pull out the Lens.
It fits perfectly over the iPhone 4 lens.

I went outside to have a play.
Photos were tweaked in Snapseed for iPhone.
