Gmail exchange sync

I have gmail setup as an exchange account on my iphone and it works good. I just notice that although the messages are organized in threads the sent emails are not shown there like they are in gmail. Does anyone know how or if this is possible?

Also, when I send an email from my gmail on the web, the reply arrow is not updated on my iphone. Any ideas about these? Thanks in advance for any help.

The sent emails are in the sent folder (think outlook)
