Okay, so when you press the power button it goes into sleep mode on the macbook pro. When you press it again it should take you to a screen where you log in. If you hold down the power button at that screen for two - three seconds then let go and press it again you are in your desktop and it by passes the log in. Ill post a video up here momentarily if I can figure out how.

    Hi Cornettbr,

    I'm sorry I can't reproduce the bug.
Have you checked your password security settings in:
    System Settings > Security & Privacy > General > "Request password [immediately/5 seconds after/etc.] after sleep" ?

What happens is that it brings me back to the log in screen then I hold down the power button again for like three seconds the screen turns black and then I just press it once and it turns on. I definitely have mine set up for immediately I'm in class until four but I'll load the video when I get off work.
