when I first tried it, it keeps on prompting me for username/password even though I've saved both in my keychain.

I have no problem connecting to my network drive on Mac OS sierra. I only logged in once. I am on 10.12.2 beta though and I upgraded without doing a full clean install since Yosemite. I hope that helps

No problems here either. I checked the box to remember and that was all I had to do. Are you using a NAS another computer sharing out a drive, or a time capsule?

Did you ever get a resolution?

If not, let me know what you are trying to auto mount (NAS, Windows machine, another Mac, Corporate Network Share)

I have no problems on my home MacBook Pro, but am still waiting for Sierra to be installed on my work MacBook Pro. Looking like a couple more weeks before we finally update.
