My first macbook pro

I just bought 13 inch macbook pro mid 2009 and i'm currently wondering what apps should I download. Any ideas where to start? What apps sync nicely between an iphone and macbook? Let me know what you're using!

use itunes to transfer stuff to iOS devices.

As for which apps to download, I cannot really help you there since this are different for each person. I cannot possibly recommend you 3D animation apps if you're not into it.

but for something generic like Microsoft Office family, I believe the Apple equivalent apps are free on the store?
