    Hello, i have an early 2013 MBPr 13" 256GB, i'm running low on space and i have 125GB in the "other" tab in the memory that i really have no clue what's inside them! I deleted almost all the large files on my mac! Any help?I have 125 GB of "other" that i need to delete!-screen-shot-2014-03-17-2.25.28-am.png

    Yes. It's the local time machine backup. What it does is if you don't hook up a time machine drive or while one is not available, it makes local time machine backups. But it's only takes up south space and if real data needs it then it deleted stuff. If you do a real time machine backup that other should be reduced automatically. There is a way to turn off this local times home backup feature. A quick Google should turn up the command. It's something that you have to do in Terminal.

    it could also be the back-ups your iDevices have made whenever you connected them to iTunes on your Mac. (if that applies for you)
    I checked that recently and managed to delete about 60GB of 'other'. If you wanna have a look. iTunes>Preferences>Devices> there's your device backup list. If you have multiple (old ones) for the same device, tag them and 'delete backup'.
