Hi!

That error message started popping up a couple of days ago, never had it before. I can't access any system settings what so ever, it just crashes instantaneously.

I tried all solutions I could find a bunch of times. Neither deleting the plist file, deleting all the cache files or repairing disk permissions works. I can't even access the system preferences when in safe mode, I get the same crash.

I'm running a MacBook Pro late 2011, upgraded with SSD and 8gb RAM, OS X 10.9.2.

Is there any other way to solve this or do I have to completely start over again (wouldn't be the first time...)?

Cheers

If you have a Time Machine backup available - try a restore of the system preferences app from a back-up made prior to when you started having issues.
